Wedding Content Creators

Behind-the-scenes clips and same-night reels, captured the way your friends would if they were not busy being guests.

Wedding content creators

Your wedding, captured the way your friends would

A wedding content creator is not a second photographer. They capture the day the way your friends would if they were not busy being guests: vertically, quickly, on a phone, and in your hands within hours rather than weeks.

Our couples book them for the gap that photography has always left. The morning in the room, the walk to the ceremony, the first hour of the party, and the little moments in between, delivered the same night while everyone is still awake to watch them. We brief creators to stay unobtrusive and to work alongside your photographer and videographer, not across them.

We arrange content creators for weddings at wedding venues in the UK, Spain, Portugal, Italy and beyond. Browse our wedding venues to see where we plan.

What they capture

Behind the scenes, in real time

A content creator follows the story of the day from the inside, filming short clips and photos made for sharing.

Getting ready

The nerves, the laughter, the dress and the final touches, filmed as they happen.

Behind the scenes

The walk to the ceremony, the first look and the quiet moments a photographer is too busy to catch.

Guest reactions

Tears during the vows, cheers at the kiss and the faces of the people you love.

Guest messages

Short video messages from friends and family, a modern twist on the guest book.

The first hour of the party

The first dance, the dancefloor filling up and the moments everyone talks about the next day.

Same-night reel

A short edited reel of the day, ready to share before you go to bed.

Who does what

Content creator, photographer or videographer?

A content creator adds to your wedding photographer and videographer rather than replacing them. This is how the three compare.

The couples who love their content creator most are the ones who still book a great photographer. One gives you the night itself, the other gives you the heirlooms.

Filmed discreetly from the side, staying out of your photographer's and videographer's shots.

4

Reception & party

Guest moments, messages, the first dance and the dancefloor at its best.

5

Delivery

A same-night reel, then all the raw clips and photos shared with you within a day or two.

Expert tips

How to get the best wedding content

A few simple decisions before the day make a big difference to how your reels and clips turn out.

Plan the moments in advance

Share your running order and a short list of must-have moments. Tell your hair and makeup team too, so filming the getting-ready does not put anyone behind schedule.

Go unplugged for the ceremony

Ask guests to put their phones away during the vows. Your footage shows real emotion instead of rows of screens, and the moment feels more intimate.

Tidy the backgrounds

A clear corner by a window makes getting-ready clips look far better. Move bags, bottles and clutter out of shot before filming starts.

Keep any posting ban short

If you ask guests not to post, keep it to 24 hours at most. People share in the moment, and after a day or two most will not post at all.

Balance trends with timeless

A trending sound is fun, but it dates quickly. Ask for a few reels without trends that you will still love watching in ten years.

Practise your big moments

A dip for the first kiss or a twirl back down the aisle? Try it at home first, film it on your phone and share the idea with your creator.

No content creator?

Asking a friend to film instead

Choose someone already in the wedding party who knows lots of the guests, and agree the moments you want and anything you would rather not have filmed. Ask them to shoot in 4K, hold the phone steady or use a small tripod, and focus on real moments rather than posed shots. Most of all, make sure they still get to enjoy the day.

How much does a wedding content creator cost?

Content creators usually charge by the hour or by the day. The price depends on how many hours they cover, how many edited reels you want, how quickly you need them and whether they travel to your wedding.

For a wedding abroad, a creator based at your destination is usually better value than flying one out from home, and they already know the venues. Half-day coverage, from getting ready to the first hour of the party, is the most popular choice and covers the moments that matter most for social media.

Good to know

Wedding content creator questions

What does a wedding content creator do?

+

A wedding content creator films and photographs your day on a smartphone, focusing on behind-the-scenes moments, guest reactions and the party. They edit short vertical reels made for social media and deliver them the same night or within a day or two.

Is a content creator the same as a videographer?

+

No. A videographer uses professional cameras and microphones to make a cinematic film, usually delivered months later. A content creator works on a phone and delivers quick, candid clips within hours. Many couples book both, as they do different jobs.

Do we still need a photographer if we have a content creator?

+

Yes. A content creator does not replace a professional photographer. Phone footage is perfect for sharing, but your photographer produces the high-resolution images you will print, frame and keep for life.

When will we receive our content?

+

Most creators send a first reel on the night or the next morning, and all the raw clips and photos within 24 to 48 hours. Extra edited reels usually follow within a week. Check the exact timings before you book.

How many hours of coverage do we need?

+

Half a day, from getting ready to the first hour of the party, covers the moments most couples want. Full-day coverage adds the dancefloor and late-night highlights, and some couples add the welcome party or the day after.

Will a content creator get in the way of our photographer?

+

Not if they are briefed properly. Good creators work from the side, move quickly and stay out of the photographer's and videographer's shots. We share the running order with every supplier so they all know where to stand.

Can the content creator post our wedding online?

+

Only if you agree. Many creators like to share their work, so decide before the day whether they can post your wedding, and whether faces, names or the venue should stay private.

Can we have a content creator at a wedding abroad?

+

Yes. A creator based at your destination is usually better value and already knows the venues. Alternatively, a creator can travel with you from home, with flights and accommodation added to the price.

Should we have an unplugged ceremony?

+

It is worth considering. Asking guests to put their phones away during the vows means your photographer, videographer and content creator capture faces rather than screens, and everyone is fully present for the moment. Your content creator will share clips afterwards anyway.

Should we ask guests not to post about our wedding?

+

If you want to share first, ask guests to wait, but keep it short, ideally no longer than 24 hours. People tend to post in the moment, and after a day or two most will not share at all.
