Finca Botania is a garden wedding estate in the Montes de Málaga, about 15 minutes from the city centre and the airport. More than 30,000 m² of tropical gardens, with palms, fountains and winding gravel paths, make it feel like a hidden oasis in the hills, with the mountains as a backdrop.
It is made for outdoor weddings. You can marry by the fountain garden, have drinks under the old carob tree in the Plaza del Algarrobo, and dine in the gardens, on the two-level terrace or in the 300 m² marquee. Catering is by Alabardero, the estate's only caterer, and the finca is open all year.

Accommodation near Finca Botania
Finca Botania has no bedrooms on site, so guests stay in Málaga, just 15 minutes away, with hotels from the historic centre to the seafront and the port. It makes a city break of the wedding weekend. We arrange room blocks and transport between the hotels and the finca.
What a wedding here costs
Finca Botania does not publish its prices, and catering is exclusive to Alabardero, so the cost is quoted per guest for your menu, drinks and the space. As a guide, the average wedding in Spain costs €25,183 for 123 guests (Bodas.net, 2026). We get you a full written quotation for your date and numbers before you commit.

How many guests can Finca Botania hold?

Up to around 350 guests for a wedding, according to Sunshine Weddings Spain, with the Plaza del Algarrobo alone taking up to 450 for drinks or dinner, according to Picart. We confirm the right space for your numbers.
Where can we hold the ceremony?

Civil-style and symbolic ceremonies take place at Altos del Alba, the fountain garden, or on the main lawn with the mountains behind. The Plaza del Algarrobo can also host the ceremony. A church ceremony can be held in Málaga, about 15 minutes away.
Can we get legally married at Finca Botania?

A legal civil wedding in Spain usually requires at least one partner to be resident, so most couples from the UK and Ireland marry legally at home and hold a symbolic ceremony at the finca. We guide you through the options.
Who does the catering?

Catering is by Alabardero, the estate's only caterer, so you cannot bring your own. The team plans the menu, drinks and service with you.

Do you plan weddings at Finca Botania?

Yes. We can plan your whole wedding at Finca Botania or coordinate the day you have planned, alongside the venue's catering team. Planning is charged at €75 per hour plus VAT with a 10-hour minimum, and on-day coordination starts at €750 for a half day plus VAT.
