Finca Cortesín is one of the most celebrated five-star resorts on the Costa del Sol, set on a 215-hectare estate in Casares between Estepona and Sotogrande, about a mile from the Mediterranean. Opened in 2006, it is built around whitewashed Andalusian courtyards, palm-lined pools and manicured gardens, with a championship golf course, a 2,200 m² spa and several acclaimed restaurants.
For weddings, the whole resort can be yours: wedding parties have exclusive use of its 67 suites, gardens and event spaces. And you have two very different places to say "I do": a garden ceremony on the estate, with the sea in the distance, or a ceremony by the water at the resort's own Beach Club on the bay of Casares.

A ceremony at the Beach Club
As well as the gardens on the estate, Finca Cortesín has its own Beach Club on the bay of Casares, a short drive from the hotel. It is a beautiful alternative for couples who want to marry right by the Mediterranean.
Guests sit on the terrace among palms and white beach houses, then move on to drinks by the 35 m infinity pool overlooking the sea. Many couples hold the ceremony and drinks at the Beach Club, then return to the hotel for dinner and dancing, and we organise the transport between the two.

Finca Cortesín has 67 suites, from Junior Suites to Garden Suites, Pool Suites with sea views and the Cortesín Suite, plus private residences. With exclusive use, your guests can stay on site for the whole weekend and make the most of the spa, golf, Beach Club and restaurants. For larger weddings, there are hotels in Estepona and Sotogrande nearby.
What a wedding here costs
Finca Cortesín does not publish wedding prices. As a five-star, exclusive-use resort, it sits at the top end of the market, and the cost depends on your date, guest numbers, the suites you take and your choice of ceremony setting. For comparison, the average wedding in Spain costs €25,183 (Bodas.net, 2026). We get you a full written proposal from the resort before you commit.

Can we have the ceremony at the Beach Club?

Yes. As well as the gardens on the estate, Finca Cortesín has its own Beach Club on the bay of Casares, a short drive from the hotel, where you can marry on the terrace by the sea. Many couples hold the ceremony and drinks there, then return to the hotel for dinner and dancing, and we arrange the transport.
How many guests can Finca Cortesín hold?

Up to around 200 guests for a wedding (TravelExtra). The Ballroom seats up to 120 indoors, and the gardens, terraces and Beach Club take larger numbers outdoors. We confirm the right spaces for your numbers.

Can we get legally married at Finca Cortesín?

A legal civil wedding in Spain usually requires at least one partner to be resident, so most couples from the UK and Ireland marry legally at home and hold a symbolic ceremony at the resort. A Catholic wedding can take place at a church nearby with the right permissions.

Yes. We can plan your whole wedding at Finca Cortesín or coordinate the day you have planned, working alongside the resort's events team. Planning is charged at €75 per hour plus VAT with a 10-hour minimum, and on-day coordination starts at €750 for a half day plus VAT.
