Villa Almanita, near Sitges
Villa Almanita is an 18th-century mansion built by a local wine-making family, set in 80 acres of private grounds among the vineyards and wooded hills near Sitges, about 30 minutes from Barcelona Airport. Weathered stone walls, old wooden doors, an antique wine press by the gate and a courtyard shaded by vines give it real, lived-in character.
It suits bigger, sociable weddings of up to 150 guests, with the whole estate yours for at least three nights and room for around 50 people to stay. Dinner is a long table under the vines strung with fairy lights, the party moves to the pool and the courtyard bar, and there is no sound curfew, so you can dance as late as you like.

The Vine Courtyard
A gravel courtyard shaded by old vines, made for long tables under fairy lights and hanging bulbs.

The old wine cellar, restored with oak casks, a vaulted ceiling and fairy lights, for a ceremony or an indoor dinner.

A green lawn among mature trees for a curved banquet table or an evening lounge.

A curved pool and jacuzzi in the gardens, which becomes the dance floor once the sun goes down.

A party with no curfew
Many venues near the coast have to turn the music down by midnight. At Villa Almanita there is no sound curfew at all, so the celebration can carry on as long as you want (Wedinspire).
Because everyone is staying on the estate, nobody has to leave for a taxi: dinner in the courtyard, dancing by the pool, then breakfast together the next morning. The venue uses external caterers only, which gives you a free choice of menu, and as there is no on-site planner, we can take care of the suppliers and the running of the day.

Accommodation at Villa Almanita
The house has 24 bedrooms sleeping around 50 guests, with extra sleeping options for up to 70 (Wedinspire). Expect beamed ceilings, terracotta floors, canopy beds and views over the hills. A three-night exclusive stay for 52 guests is included in the starting price. Any other guests can stay in Sitges, a short drive away, and we arrange the transport.
What a wedding here costs
Weddings at Villa Almanita start from around €18,000 for 52 guests, including a three-night exclusive stay. Catering is by external caterers, starting from about €160 per guest, and drinks are priced on request (Wedinspire, 2027–28 pricing). For 100 guests, catering would add roughly €16,000, bringing the total to around €34,000 before drinks, flowers, music and styling. Ceremonies can take place on the shaded garden lawn, framed by an old brick archway, or indoors in the restored bodega, in front of stacked oak wine casks. Dinner is usually in the vine-shaded courtyard under fairy lights, and the bodega's vaulted hall works for an indoor dinner and dancing.

Can we get legally married at Villa Almanita?

A legal civil wedding in Spain usually requires at least one partner to be resident, so most couples from the UK and Ireland marry legally at home and hold a symbolic ceremony at the venue.
Do you plan weddings at Villa Almanita?

Yes. As the venue has no on-site planner, a planner makes a real difference here. We can plan your whole wedding at Villa Almanita or coordinate the day you have planned. Planning is charged at €75 per hour plus VAT with a 10-hour minimum, and on-day coordination starts at €750 for a half day plus VAT.
