Wedding Venue & Supplier Sourcing

Venue & Vendor Sourcing

The right setting, and the right people in it. We find both, check the contracts and handle every introduction.

Venue & vendor sourcing

The right venue, and the right people in it

Finding a venue abroad is the part most couples underestimate. Photographs flatter, websites rarely list what is actually included, and it is hard to judge from home whether a place will hold a hundred guests comfortably or feel stretched at sixty. We look at venues for a living, and we have stood in most of the ones you are considering.

Then there are the suppliers. A venue is only as good as the people working in it, and we have spent years building relationships with wedding caterers, photographers and videographers, content creators, florists, musicians and entertainers and stylists. We know who is reliable in August, who is worth the extra money and who turns up early.

We source wedding venues in the UK, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Greece, and the suppliers to go with them. Browse our wedding venues, or let us build a shortlist for you.

The questions we ask every venue

The answers that matter are rarely on the website. We ask them before you fall in love with a place, and we get them in writing.

We check every space before you fall in love with it
The space

Capacity & layout

  • How many guests, really? Seated for dinner, not standing for drinks
  • What is the wet-weather plan? And is it as lovely as the terrace?
  • Is it exclusive use? Or will other guests or events be nearby?
  • Is there accommodation? On site or close by, and at what rate?
The rules

On the night

  • When does the music have to stop? And is there a sound limiter?
  • Can we bring our own suppliers? Or must we use their list?
  • Is there power and a kitchen? Or do caterers bring their own?
  • What time can suppliers set up? And when must they leave?
The money

The contract

  • What is included in the price? Tables, chairs, linen, staff and cleaning
  • Are there minimum spends or numbers? And what happens if guests drop out?
  • What are the payment terms? Deposit, balance and cancellation
  • What happens if the venue cancels? Refunds and alternative dates

We fell in love with our Marbella venue the moment we saw it. Thank you for helping us find somewhere so special!

Imogen & Rupert

We had no idea where to start looking for a venue in Málaga, and the choice was honestly overwhelming. Wes and his team helped us narrow things down and find somewhere that suited us perfectly. The views were beautiful, the setting was relaxed, and it felt right as soon as we arrived. We couldn't be happier with the recommendation.

The recommended DJ was brilliant! He read the room perfectly, played all our favourites and somehow kept our friends and family dancing until the very end. We had the best night.

Martha & Felix
DJ recommendation

We wanted a live singer for our drinks reception, something relaxed that would give the afternoon a lovely atmosphere without being too formal. The recommendation was spot on. The singer was fantastic, our guests loved it, and it made the whole reception feel that little bit more special.

Good to know

Venue and vendor sourcing questions

What is venue and vendor sourcing?

+

It is a service where we find the right wedding venue and suppliers for you. We build a shortlist that fits your guest numbers, budget and style, arrange viewings, check contracts and introduce you to trusted caterers, photographers, content creators, florists and entertainment.

Can we book venue sourcing without full wedding planning?

+

Yes. Venue and vendor sourcing is available on its own. We find and book the venue and introduce the suppliers, then you take it from there. You can add on-the-day coordination later if you want us to run the day.

How many venues will you shortlist?

+

Usually three to five venues that genuinely fit your brief, each with the full cost, what is included and anything to watch for. A shorter list of the right places is more useful than a long list of everything available.

Can we view venues if we live abroad?

+

Yes. We arrange viewings to fit a short trip, often several venues in a day or two, and come with you where we can. If you cannot travel, we can show you round by live video call.

Do you only recommend venues you work with?

+

No. Our venue collection is a starting point, but we source venues to suit each couple. We also check venues you have found yourselves, and tell you honestly if one is not right for your plans.

How far in advance should we start looking for a venue?

+

Twelve to eighteen months ahead for popular dates from May to September, and earlier for Saturdays at the most sought-after venues. Midweek and winter dates are usually easier to secure at shorter notice.

How much does wedding venue hire cost?

+

It depends on the country, season and what is included. As a guide, UK venue hire averages around £6,040, Spain starts from around €6,000, Portugal runs €2,000 to €8,000, Italy €8,000 to €15,000 and Greece €3,500 to €14,000 for a hundred guests.

Will you check the venue contract?

+

Yes. We read every venue contract for inclusions, minimum spends, supplier rules, finish times and cancellation terms, and explain anything that could catch you out before you sign.
