Masia Font de la Reina, Capellades

Masia Font de la Reina is a 15th-century Catalan masia set among gardens and wooded hills on the edge of Capellades. It is about 40 minutes from Barcelona and 20 minutes from the beaches of Sitges, yet it feels completely tucked away (Wedinspire).

The stone house sits at the heart of the estate, with seven restored rooms, a little private chapel and a tiled Andalusian patio. Outside there is a pool, a garden lawn and a wide gravel terrace for long tables under festoon lights. It holds up to 300 guests outdoors and 130 indoors, and the whole estate is yours for at least two nights.

The estate

The spaces

The Front Terrace

A wide terrace in front of the masia for long dinner tables and dancing under the lights.

The Gardens

About 1,000 m² of private outdoor space, with a lawn and mature trees for the ceremony and drinks.

The Chapel

A small private chapel inside the house, with a painted ceiling and a gilded altar.

The Andalusian Patio

A tiled courtyard with an outdoor staircase and potted palms, lovely for portraits.

The Pool

A pool beside the garden for the welcome day and lazy afternoons.

Indoor Hall

An indoor space for up to 130 guests if the weather turns.

A three-day celebration

Dance with no curfew

There is no music curfew at Font de la Reina, so the party can carry on outdoors for as long as you like (Wedinspire).

Weddings here usually run over three days: a welcome drink on the first evening, the wedding itself, and a slow day after by the pool. With 25 of your closest guests staying in the house and only one wedding at a time, the whole weekend feels like a private house party. The venue's on-site coordinators work alongside us throughout the day, and the masia can also arrange flowers, styling, photography and video, and entertainment from flamenco dancers and live cellists to DJs with full lighting (Wedinspire).
