Hospes Maricel & Spa sits right on the water at Cas Català, on the Bay of Palma, about 20 minutes from Palma Airport. Its stone palace building, with arcades, balustrades and terraces stepping down to the sea, was designed by the Mallorcan architect Francesc Casas and opened in 1950, when it quickly became the place to be seen in Mallorca (Hospes). Restored by Hospes, it now pairs that classic building with a modern wing, a spa and an infinity pool that seems to run straight into the bay.
Weddings here are all about the sea. You marry on a terrace above the waves, with boats moored in the turquoise water below, then move to drinks overlooking the Mediterranean and dinner as the light softens. The hotel holds up to 170 guests, sleeps 102, and the music can carry on until 4am.

A typical day here flows from a ceremony on the terrace above the water to drinks overlooking the Mediterranean, then dinner and dancing as the sun goes down, to the sound of the waves (Wedinspire).
The hotel's own events team, included in the price, looks after the planning and coordination on the day. Catering is Mediterranean, built on fresh local produce, and catering and drinks are both included in the starting price, which makes it one of the best-value five-star seafront venues we know. The hotel also has several direct ways down to the water, so guests can swim before the celebrations begin.

The hotel has 51 rooms, 29 in the original palace building and 22 in the newer wing, sleeping up to 102 guests (Hospes; Wedinspire). The design keeps the sea in view from the rooms and terraces, and many have balconies over the water. With no minimum stay, you can book just the nights you need, and Palma's old town is only a short drive away for any extra guests.

Weddings at Hospes Maricel start from around €15,000 for 60 guests, with catering and drinks both included (Wedinspire, 2027–28 pricing). That works out at about €250 per guest for a five-star seafront setting, with the events team thrown in. Rooms are booked separately, with no minimum stay.
