Can Riera de la Pineda is a beautifully restored stone masia in the middle of a natural park, about 2 km from the village of Arbúcies in Girona province. With forest all around and no neighbours, it is wonderfully peaceful, yet Girona Airport is only around 25 minutes away (Wedinspire).
You hire the whole property from Friday to Sunday. Marry in the forest, on the covered stone terrace or in the little stone chapel with its bell tower, then gather in front of the house for drinks before dinner and a party round the pool. It holds up to 350 guests, the villa sleeps 18, and there is no curfew.

Morning or evening, your way
Weddings here can be in the morning, with a forest ceremony at 11:30 and lunch at 2pm, or in the evening, with vows at 5:30pm and dinner at 8:30pm (Wedinspire).
Either way, the bar for the wedding party is arranged for you, with staff and drinks, and you choose your own caterer. With the Friday to Sunday hire, guests can arrive for a welcome drink, and the team can organise wine tasting, a paella cookout, hot-air balloon rides or a trip to the Costa Brava beaches.
